The featured heavy-duty gantry waterjet cutting machine for marble is purpose-designed for processing marble, granite, quartz, ceramic and large-format natural stone slabs. Its open gantry frame creates unobstructed access around the working area, making it far easier and safer to load and unload heavy stone slabs with overhead lifting gear – a critical efficiency gain for high-volume fabrication yards.
The system uses abrasive waterjet cold cutting technology operating at up to 4,137 bar / 60,000 PSI. Unlike thermal cutting methods, it produces no heat-affected zone, preventing edge cracking, thermal discoloration and material deformation on premium marble slabs. Cut surfaces are clean and smooth, significantly reducing downstream polishing and finishing labour.
Fedjetting offers both standard 3-axis and upgraded 5-axis cutting head options. The 5-axis configuration enables precision bevel cutting and complex 3D profiling for architectural stonework, decorative mosaics and custom countertop designs. Working dimensions are fully customizable: X-axis travel from 2.5m to 5m and Y-axis travel from 1.5m to 20m, to fit all common slab sizes and factory layouts. The machine delivers ±0.03mm repeatability for consistent, high-precision production.
